SEBI Recruitment 2020: About 1.4 lakh candidates have applied for the recruitment of 100 posts of Officer (Assistant Manager) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
According to Sarkari Results, Nearly 1.4 lakh candidates have applied for the recruitment of 100 posts of Officer (Assistant Manager) in the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). SEBI had announced the filling of vacancies in General, Legal, Information Technology, Engineering, Research, and Official Language streams and for this, an official notification was issued on 7 March 2020.
The application process has now been closed and SEBI has announced the number of applications received for the advertised vacancies on its website. Of the total number of applicants, 55,322 candidates belong to the general category. At the same time, 3,624 candidates of the EWS category have applied for this Sarkari job.
A total of 1,979 applications have been registered for the post of civil engineering. These posts are reserved for the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste category. Apart from this, around 90,000 applications have been registered for 80 vacancies of officer (general) stream.
How will the candidates be selected?
Candidates will be selected based on two computer-based exams and one personal interview. In the computer-based examination, questions will be asked from English Language and General Awareness.
The first computer-based test will be conducted on 17 January 2021 and the second will be on 27 February.
